About
IHU Summer Language School Program for Modern Turkish, Ottoman Turkish, Arabic and Persian
Elementary, intermediate, and advanced levels are available.
20 hours per week for 7 weeks (140 hours of instruction) - Fully transferable, equivalent to two regular semesters.
Tuition is USD 3000 (USD 2500 for the online program).
Discount (USD 250) available for students recommended by their academic advisors or employers.
The application deadline for the first round is May 31st.

- One letter of recommendation (if you are applying for a tuition reduction)
- Housing: Students can stay in IHU dormitories (male and female) for a fee. If you need accommodation, please send an email to us.
The IHU Summer School Language Program is coordinated and developed in cooperation with the IHU School of Languages and the Department of History.

Course aim
The Ibn Haldun University (IHU) Summer Language School Program offers intensive instruction in Modern Turkish, Ottoman Turkish, Arabic and Persian for students and professionals. This is a full summer term that lasts seven weeks and offers transferable credits. A fully immersive experience is designed to include co-curricular and extracurricular activities such as study hours, seminars by leading scholars on history, politics, literature, and arts, and cultural events such as film screenings and field trips to historical sites and archives.
