Dreaming of a future in global health, science or medicine? Spend four weeks exploring international healthcare challenges and boosting your English skills at a top UK university in the beautiful South West of England.
What will you learn?
Tropical medicine: How infectious diseases spread, how the body fights them and methods of treatment and prevention.
Healthcare ethics: Moral and political issues around global health, including fairness, responsibility and equality.
Global challenges: The effect of climate change, migration and globalisation on global health – and how to solve complex problems.
You will also enjoy practical experiences, such as the opportunity to visit a snake venom unit, simulation ward and diagnostic laboratories, as well as using next-generation sequencing data and cutting-edge biotechnologies.
The price of the school includes accommodation, a social programme, and an end of course certificate. Breakfast and dinner are also available at an additional cost.
