About
This course focuses on the design and manufacturing of fixed-wing drones (FWDs) using fiber-reinforced composite materials (FRCs).
The summer school offers two educational, intense and intriguing weeks where students gain fundamental knowledge and practical experience with FWDs, FRCs, composite design, and manufacturing.
Working together in international and interdisciplinary project teams, students will apply the knowledge and skills to design, build, and test fly their drone. The tasks include aerodynamic- and structural design, material selection, manufacturing planning and execution, simulations, etc.
