There is a wide selection of accommodation available either in Manchester Metropolitan University halls or through accredited private providers. Accommodation on the Manchester and Cheshire campuses is provided in 11 halls of residence, with 7 university-owned and leased halls, and 4 in partnership with nominated halls; 65% is en-suite. The majority of accommodation is within a short walk of the main academic and student buildings. There are a number of accessible rooms for students with mobility difficulties, in addition to rooms specially adapted for students with sensory impairments. Manchester Metropolitan University also operates in partnership with the University of Manchester and Manchester Student Homes, offering university accredited accommodation in over 40 privately owned halls.
