TAU is located in the north west area of Tel Aviv, Israel's business and cultural epicentre. The campus is easily accessible by all the major public bus companies and is adjacent to a train station, connecting to distant areas of the country.

Two dorm complexes: Einstein (recently renovated) and Broshim (brand new), are right next to campus. Students are offered either single or shared rooms (depending on availability). Cost varies in accordance to the preferred dorm complex and the preferred room (shared or single). The alternative to dormitory accommodation is to rent private rooms or apartments close to the university in Ramat Aviv, or in downtown Tel Aviv. Students wishing to reduce housing costs may choose to rent in the suburbs of Tel Aviv. The International Office helps students to find off-campus housing.

The Elite Sports Center (http://www.sports-center.co.il) serves as the venue for all regular university physical education courses, as well as competitive intercollegiate and Israeli league activities in a variety of sports. Facilities include an Olympic-size swimming pool, lit tennis courts, a basketball court, a track, and a football stadium. The Goldreich Multipurpose Sports building houses fitness and weight rooms, squash courts, and a gymnastics hall.
