Traditional :individually equipped 10m2 bedrooms with collective facilities (kitchenette, sanitation, work rooms, cultural activities room) There are also a few studios.
New :equipped one-room (and some two-room) flats. They are all equipped with a kitchenette and a bathroom. Most residences offer collective services (launderette, dispensers, internet room).
12 month contract from September to August.

Student status generally allows you to receive housing benefit paid by the Caisse des allocations familiales (CAF) of the department of residence. This benefit varies depending of the kind of accommodation (hall of residence, rented accommodation, joint-tenancy, hostel), the amount of the rent and on the student's resources.
