The University of Stuttgart is located in Stuttgart, the cultural centre of the state of Baden-Württemberg with a wealth of museums and art galleries. The University has two locations: City Centre Campus and Vaihingen Campus. Both campuses are easily accessible by public transport, and are only a few minutes' walking distance from local bus stops. Vaihingen is a few miles south west of Stuttgart and several subway and bus lines stop at the campus, connecting it with Stuttgart and the airport. Accommodation is not guaranteed, but the university will, upon request, endeavour to help students secure accommodation. Most student housing in Stuttgart is organised through Studentenverk. Students can expect to pay £215 to £430 a month (€250-€500), depending on whether they are taking a single room or a whole apartment.
