The main campus of Université catholique de Louvain is based in Louvain-la-Neuve, in the French-speaking Walloon region of Belgium. The town is easily navigable on foot and is accessible by train. The nearest airport is Brussels International Airport. Other campuses include two small campuses in Brussels for the university's faculties of Medicine and Architecture, a campus in Mons, and minor institutions at Charleroi and Tournai.

In Louvain-la-Neuve and Brussels the University has a total of 4,600 lodging possibilities (4,050 rooms and 550 studios and apartments) for students, but it is possible to stay elsewhere in the town or the city, through negotiation with real-estate companies or private owners.
