Macquarie University is in the suburb of Marsfield, in Sydney. The nearest airport is Syndey International Airport. There are regular trains to and from central Sydney from Macquarie University Train Station. There are five separate bus networks running services around the university. The university supports cyclists, providing bike racks and a cycle network map. There is a free regular shuttle bus around the campus for staff, students and visitors. International students, except for those with Australian government sponsorship or on exchange programmes, are not eligible for the student travel discount on public transport.
