Despite its size, UBA has no central campus. Ciudad Universitaria was started in the 1960s, but only contains two main schools, with all other schools dispersed throughout the city.
Public transport in Buenos Aires is good, although crowded during the busy rush hour.
The city's underground system (Subte) is a quick way to get around, or use the reliable and inexpensive buses or suburban rail network.
The city centre is easily walked.
