This lesson mainly includes land investigating and land estimating. Status investigating of land use and investigating of land type are main parts in land investigating. Status investigating of land use is important to land management. Procedure, method and production of land investigating are the main part in this lesson. Land type investigating mainly serves for research and production practice of land science. The concepts of land classification and land typing, structure and succession of land type, process and method of land type investigating, identifying and classifying of land type, mapping of land type, etc. are included in this part. Land investigating is the basis of land estimating. It mainly includes estimating of land potential, estimating of land suiting, economic estimating, mathematical method and applications of land resource information system in land assessment.
