178As an entering Ph.D. student, you should be competent in mathematics (including linear algebra and calculus) and business (accounting, economics, finance, management), and have adequate computer skills and a good command of the English language. If you are deficient in any of these areas, additional coursework (beyond the major course of study) may be required.

To enroll in the Ph.D. program you are required to complete the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), which measures your ability to communicate and solve problems. We prefer the GMAT, but we do accept the GRE test as a substitute. In either case, the exam must have been taken within 5 years of the time of application to WSU. All students must meet the following formula:GPA x 200 + GMAT=1250 where the minimum GPA is 3.25
