24Candidates for admission to the program should have a strong math background, typically demonstrated by successful completion of the following courses: Calculus �C at least two semesters for college credit Linear Algebra �C or an equivalent course or courses Probability (or Probability and Statistics) �C must be calculus-based Computer Programming �C one semester (experience may substitute for coursework in certain cases)
