Students who are citizens of the following English-speaking countries, or who have graduated from an English-speaking university within these countries, are exempt from this requirement: Australia, Canada (except Quebec), Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, USA, and the United Kingdom. Please note that some departments (i.e., Politics) have strict guidelines and may require English proficiency scores from all international applicants. Please check with the department to which you are applying to see if it is a requirement. Minimum Score Requirements for English Proficiency Exam Minimum scores for each exam are: 600 (paper-based TOEFL) 250 (computer-based TOEFL) 100 (internet-based TOEFL)
