All majors are welcome and encouraged to apply. A big focus of the review process is evidence of quantitative skills/aptitude via coursework or GMAT/GRE scores. The majority of successful non-business students come from a variety of backgrounds, including - but not limited to - economics, psychology, engineering, communications, and political science.
You are not required to have post undergraduate degree work experience for successful application to this program. Most (~75%) students admitted into the program have less than one year of work experience.

Standardized tests are one of the ways we evaluate potential success in the SMF program. We accept the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or Graduate Record Exam (GRE) without a preference. For the GMAT, we accept either the legacy GMAT or Focused GMAT. We also continue to accept test scores from the online testing alternatives released by GMAC (GMAT) and ETS (GRE). All applicants* are required to take the GMAT or GRE unless they meet the conditions below to opt out of submitting test scores.
