A Bachelor or Master's degree in Biochemistry or Chemistry or related disciplines. Good background with research experience in Molecular biology and Chemical Biology is preferred. Being motivated and ability to work independently are required. Good skills with English reading and writing.
For PhD admissions, the English requirement is as follows: score results of TOEFL ibt (≥ 79) or IELTS(≥6.5).
Prof. Chun Kit Kwok
Dr. Kwok is an expert in nucleic acid chemistry and biology. Recently he has published a series of research articles in prestigious journals including Nature, Nature Methods, Nature Communications, Nature Protocols and Angewandte Chemie. In addition, he has obtained many international awards owing to his excellent research including Croucher Postdoctoral Fellowship, Selected Young Scientist Participant for the 65th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting, Inventor Incentive Award, etc. Since 2016, Prof. Kwok's lab has established many collaboration projects with several prestigious Universities (Cambridge University, Oxford University, TsingHua University, UC Davis, Chinese University of Hong Kong and etc).
