About the Project
Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Fellow in Smart Ports Systems Integration POTENT Doctoral Network – Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg (Sweden)
Shape the future of resilient, low-carbon ports. We seek a curious engineer (systems, control, computer science, or similar) to model and simulate the next generation of energy-digital infrastructure for European harbours.
Your mission
· Build a multi-layer architecture (AADL + Modelica/FMI).
· Design resilience metrics for cyber-physical energy systems.
· Validate with DTU Compute and Danfoss Power Electronics during secondments.

The Ports as Energy Transition Hubs (POTENT) Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Doctoral Network( https://potentmsca.eu/ ) is a prestigious and interdisciplinary research initiative exploring how ports can serve as catalysts for Europe's clean energy transition. Funded under Horizon Europe and led by Copenhagen Business School, the network comprises 15 doctoral positions hosted across leading academic institutions and industrial partners with research spanning energy infrastructure, maritime systems, data science, and digital engineering.

Eligibility
· Master’s degree (engineering, control, optimisation, or related).
· Not resident in Sweden for > 12 months since 1 Sep 2022 (MSCA mobility rule).
· Fluent English.
